Create Your Experience
You can design your yelō experience around the needs of your community.
The yelō experience consists of three major sessions:
Gallup StrengthsFinder, Character Matrix, and your choice of Myers Briggs Type Indicator or Synergy (Leadership Matrix).
Gallup StrengthsFinder - Building your life around your strengths is far more rare than you might think. Most people focus on improving their weaknesses rather than harnessing their strengths. We will engage in a conversation involving the identification and harnessing of your strengths, while also learning to manage your weaknesses. The Gallup StrengthsFinder assessment involves 34 top themes (strengths), and after taking this assessment, you will discover your top five. These five themes will provide clarity around how you were uniquely designed, and will help focus your future choices.
The Character Matrix - Character fuels a life of conviction, passion, and focus. The Character Matrix will engage your value system and press against the core of what it means to be human. Stepping into this matrix will challenge who you are and how you understand influence. Without question your character, good or bad, will drive your influence and determine the course of your future impact. The Character Matrix demands taking a second look at what you’ve always thought character to be. The Character Matrix and assessment are based on the book Uprising: A Revolution of the Soul by Erwin McManus (founder of Awaken Humanity and Lead Architect of Mosaic in Los Angeles).
Choose one of the following for your third session:
Synergy - Have you ever experienced the power and impact of a synergistic team? Synergy is what every healthy team desires, and it’s what enables teams to optimize performance. Synergy helps you assess your leadership style, know what types of leaders complement you best, and help you function most optimally on your teams. Synergy reveals how synergistic teams function and will move you toward practical applications for your teams. Synergy was also created by Erwin McManus.
Myers Briggs Type Indicator - Are you more structured or unstructured? Are you more people-oriented or task-oriented? Do you make decisions with your mind or your heart? These questions and many others will be addressed as we examine our personality preferences. Knowing your distinct personality can free you to thrive at your most optimal level in your career and relationships. We will utilize the Myers-Briggs Personality Indicator to assess four categories which are the context from which we make decisions, derive energy, process information, and organize our lives.
